Employers Financial Group, LLC and Radius Financial Group, LLC were both formed in 2002 with the acquisition of Employers General Insurance Group's business operations in South Texas. Employers Financial primarily focuses on Business, Personal and Surety Insurance Programs while Radius Financial focuses on Life, Health and Employee Benefit Programs. Both companies do business as EFGI Insurance & Bonds (EFGI).
Although formed in 2002 as an Independent Agency, we trace our lineage back through Employers General and Employers Insurance of Texas to 1914 when Texas Employers Insurance Association was formed as the first writer of workers compensation in Texas and the largest writer for eight decades.
EFGI's core staff is highly experienced averaging over twenty-five years in the business. Most have personally known and worked together since 1981 and continue to enjoy an extremely positive working environment. We're a family and we care about each other as well as every client.
In 2003, EFGI formed a Premium Finance Company in order to provide in house premium finance options to clients. In 2004, EFGI purchased the Canez-Gunter Insurance Agency in order to add depth and breadth to the Life, Health and Employee Benefits side of the Agency. And just this year, EFGI acquired Hill Country Insurance Agency growing both Commercial and Personal Lines.
In September of 2008, EFGI was unanimously chosen to be the 37th Agency member of Combined Agents of America (www.combinedagents.com). Combined Agents of America (CAA) is a group of independently owned and operated agencies located in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. In 2009, we collectively produced over $400 million in premium making CAA, and EFGI, one of the largest agencies in America.
Since 2002, EFGI has quadrupled in size and operates out of four offices in Texas and Alabama. EFGI is debt free and has always maintained the highest standards of financial strength and stability. Our mission is to "Build Relationships through Integrity & Performance". Relationships are important since we are passionate about people. Integrity is critical since lifelong relationships are built on trust. And Performance is important since our clients depend on us to protect them by crafting and delivering killer programs. In short, we do it right (integrity), and we do it well (performance).
EFGI offers all employees company paid Medical, Life, Long and Short Term Disability insurance coverage, Voluntary Vision & Dental insurance and a Simple IRA with company matching contributions.
