Oil & Gas is EFGI's single greatest area of expertise. In fact, approximately 60% of our business is energy related. The core of our staff average more than 30 years experience in the oil & gas industry. We know oil & gas and we know the risks you face on a day to day basis. Our clientele includes virtually every type of business active in the oil field. EFGI has access to and has business placed with every significant oil & gas insurance carrier currently active in the marketplace.
In addition, because of our extensive expertise and presence in the energy market, EFGI took the lead, designed and implemented the CAA Engineered Risk Energy Program in partnership and association with Houston International Insurance Group (HIIG). Agencies who are not CAA members DO NOT have access to this program in Texas.
The exclusive CAA Engineered Risk Energy Program is a unique Energy Program that is exclusive to CAA member agencies in Texas. Energy related businesses located in Texas may access this program only through CAA member agencies. No other agencies have access to this program. EFGI is the program director on behalf of all of CAA.
"We are thrilled to partner with CAA in developing this exclusive energy program," says Byron Way, CEO of HIIG Energy. "CAA's collective firepower in the marketplace, reach in Texas and expertise in energy made them a great fit for HIIG Energy. With the success of this first exclusive program, we hope to expand our products to CAA."
The exclusive CAA Engineered Risk Energy Program is composed of five unique offerings:
Master Service Agreement, (MSA) Program - Business in the oil & gas industry is governed by MSA risk transfer document, which define who has liability. This program advises clients on contract language while providing a uniquely customized MSA for program clients to use with their sub-contractors.
Petroleum Education Council (PEC)/IS Networld Compliant Safety Program - The vast majority of exploration and production companies utilize third party "conformance" organizations to validate vendors. This program provides a PEC/IS Networld-compliant safety program which validates contractors gaining them access to the approved vendors llst with major exploration and production companies.
Mobile Risk Containment Program - A kit designed to attack severe claims with immediate tenacity, rather than waiting for a lawsuit which may not come for months or even years.
No-Nonsense Claims Management Program - Includes 24-hour approval of auto physical damage claims, 48-hour response on severe claims and the opportunity for clients to keep their own salvage/rig up as part of an equipment or auto settlement.
Insurance Program - Including worker's compensation, general liability, auto, property, equipment, excess liability and many other miscellaneous lines. All lines written with HIIG ccompanies rated A- (Excellent). or better by A.M. Best.
"We are extremely pleased with the CAA Engineered Risk Energy Program. The coverage is excellent and the pricing is exceptional; in fact, we have realized a substantial savings for our business," said Annie Mello, President of Unison Drilling, Inc. of Devine, Texas. "The additional expert assistance offered through the MSA Program and Safety Program compliance has been extremely helpful. We are also very pleased with the option to keep our salvage or rig-up as a part of any claim settlement - rather than forfeiting it to the insurance carrier for them to sell to whoever - allowing us to get back in business with our own customized equipment much faster. The CAA Engineered Risk Energy Program is a unique package where every portion of the program produces real savings making us more profitable and competitive."
